Midcentury Emerald Cabochon Ring with Diamonds
Circa 1950. This amazing 14KT white gold Midcentury ring features a stunning 4.77-carat oval cabochon-cut natural emerald set into a four-prong setting. The emerald is haloed with with six prong-set, baguette-cut diamonds and 14 prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .77 carats in total, with VS1-I1 clarity and G-J color.
Appraised Value: $11,300
The ring measures 15.2mm at the top, rises 12.5mm above the finger, tapering to 2.8mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
