Art Deco Blue Zircon Solitaire
Circa 1920. This beautiful Art Deco 9KT white gold solitaire features a lovely 2.45-carat round brilliant-cut natural blue zircon set in an eight-prong head. Zircons are natural gemstones with a high refraction that are found in an array of gorgeous colors. (They are often mistaken for cubic zirconia, which is a synthetic material made to look like a diamond.) The ring is approximately a size 7.5.
Appraised Value: $1,700
The ring measures 8.8mm at the top, rises 6.6mm above the finger, tapering to 1.4mm wide by 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 7.5.
