Victorian Triple-Row Ruby & Diamond Ring
Circa 1901. This beautiful 18KT gold Victorian ring features a row of five prong-set, oval mixed-cut natural rubies, bordered on each side by a row of seven prong-set, old European-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .50 carats total, with SI2-I1 clarity and F-G color. The gemstones are bordered with engraved scroll motifs. The band is stamped with English hallmarks and the maker's mark "WM."
Appraised Value: $6,700.
The ring measures 10.3mm at the top, rising to 4.8mm above the finger, tapering to 2.4mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
