Victorian Scottish Citrine Brooch with Deer Heads
Circa 1870. This fantastic Victorian Scottish brooch features a lovely reddish-orange citrine set in silver and accented with deer heads. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert built their Scottish home Balmoral in 1848; from then on Queen Victoria collected Scottish jewelry, which became a prominent part of her collection.
