Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Navette Ring
Circa 1880. This gorgeous 18KT gold Victorian ring features a row of three bead-set, oval mixed-cut natural sapphires weighing .46 carats. The sapphires are bordered with 18 prong-set, old European/single-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .54 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color. The split shank features a scroll design.
Appraised Value: $4,600
The ring measures 20.5mm at the top, rises 3.9mm above the finger, tapering to 1.7mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
