
Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Luckenbooth Ring
Circa 1880. This beautiful Victorian ring features a sterling silver-topped 18KT gold Luckenbooth design. Three bezel-set mixed-cut natural sapphires weighing .74 carats total adorn the center of the ring. 20 bead-set, rose-cut diamonds accent the double heart. The diamonds weigh .60 carats total with SI1-SI2 clarity and H-I clarity. The Scottish Luckenbooth was given as a token of love, friendship, or betrothal. The hearts symbolize love, while the crown symbolizes loyalty.

The ring measures 19.6mm at the top, rising to 4.1mm above the finger, tapering to 2.1mm wide and 1.6mm thick at the base of the shank.
