Victorian Opal & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1880. This gorgeous platinum-topped 18KT gold Victorian ring features a .50-carat oval cabochon-cut natural crystal opal exhibiting a strong play of color in greens and blues. The opal is haloed with 14 prong-set, single-cut diamonds. These accent diamonds weigh .25 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color.

The ring measures 10.7mm at the top, rises 5.4mm above the finger, tapering to 1.9mm wide and 0.5mm thick at the base of the shank.
