
Circa 1910 Opal & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1910. This lovely 18KT yellow gold Edwardian-era ring features a beautiful prong-set, oval cabochon-cut natural semi-crystal opal weighing .35 carats. The opal is haloed with ten prong-set, old European-cut diamonds. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with one old European-cut diamond bead-set into a floral style setting. The diamonds weigh .66 carats in total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and H-I color.

The ring measures 16.7mm at the top, rises 6.8mm above the finger, tapering to 1.6mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the shank.
