Victorian Carnelian Ring

Dated 1898; Birmingham, England. Ruddy orange-red carnelian stones were a popular gem used throughout the Victorian Era. Carnelian was easy for jewelers to cleave into stones and provided the perfect substrate for signet rings. This beautiful ring features a rectangular carnelian bezel set in 18KT gold. While this ring was most likely worn by a man over 100 years ago.  Today, a ring like this one looks fabulous on a woman too!

This ring measures 12.5mm by 11mm across the top.  The shank measures 10mm tapering to 4.5mm at the bottom of the shank.  The ring is currently a size 7.

We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is complimentary for most pieces, with the occasional exception.
