1970s Sapphire & Diamond Floral Cocktail Ring
Circa 1970. This beautiful 14KT yellow gold Late-Midcentury ring features a floral motif with a central prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamond that is bordered with six prong-set, natural blue sapphires. The petals are accented with a total of 50 bead-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds, and 39 channel-set, square step-cut natural blue sapphires. The diamonds weigh a total of .59 carats with I1 clarity and K-L color. The sapphires weigh 2.10 carats in total.

The ring measures 25.6mm at the top, rises 9.1mm above the finger, tapering to 2.7mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is currently a size 6.5 with a tension sizer on the inside of the shank. This helps the ring stay upright.
