Circa 1940. This lovely Retro-era 14KT rose gold Benrus Swiss wristwatch is accented with 9 bead-set, round single-cut diamonds, and 21 prong-set, round mixed-cut natural rubies. The rubies weigh .84 carats in total. The diamonds weigh .27 carats in total, with VS1-VS2 clarity and G-H color. The champagne-colored dial is accented with dot and Arabic numeral hour markers and has blue steel hands. The dial is signed "Benrus." The movement is a Benrus Watch Co. manual-wind, 17-jewel movement. The watch features a 14KT rose gold two-row bracelet with a fold-over style clasp and safety chain. The reference number "111434" is stamped on the inside of the case. The watch fits a 6.75-inch wrist.
