Retro-Era Ruby & Diamond Conch Shell Ring
Circa 1940. This Retro-Era ring features a swirl conch design accented with one bezel-set, round brilliant-cut diamond, eight bead-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds, and 11 prong-set, round mixed-cut natural rubies. The diamonds weigh .62 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color. The rubies weigh 1.76 carats.
Appraised Value: $6,550
The ring measures 24.3mm at the top, rises 8.6mm above the finger, tapering to 3.2mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the shank.
