Retro-Era Aquamarine & Diamond Cocktail Ring
Circa 1940. This wonderful Retro-Era cocktail ring features a fabulous rectangular 22-carat emerald-cut natural aquamarine. The light greenish-blue aquamarine is accented on either side by four round old European-cut diamonds weighing .56 carats total, with SI2-I1 clarity and I-J color. The 18KT gold setting is bordered with milgrain edging and features sculpted scroll motifs at the shoulders.
Appraised Value: $11,150
The ring measures 15.2mm at the top, rising to 13mm above the finger, tapering to 5.5mm wide and 1mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is currently approximately a 6 ¾.
SIZING: We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is no additional cost to our clients with the occasional exception.
