Retro Double Brooch with Amethysts

Circa 1940. This beautiful 14KT yellow gold Retro-Era double-clip brooch combo features a ribbon motif and is accented with two prong-set, emerald-cut natural amethysts, and 12 round single-cut diamonds bead-set into platinum ribbons. The amethysts weigh 17.20 carats; the diamonds weigh .30 carats with SI1-SI2 clarity and G-H color. This brooch was designed to be used as dress clips, however, this function is not possible now.
