Midcentury Square Filigree Diamond Ring
Circa 1950. This fantastic ring features a modern round modified brilliant-cut bezel-set diamond weighing .35 carats, with I1 clarity and H color. The pierced cushion-shaped gallery is bordered with milgrain edging and accented with 12 bead-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds. These accent diamonds weigh .36 carats total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and G-H color.
Appraised Value: $4,200.
The ring measures 14mm at the top, rises 3.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.1mm wide and .9mm thick at the base of the shank.
