Midcentury Freeform Diamond Engagement Ring
Circa 1950. This fabulous 14KT gold Midcentury engagement ring features a 1.61-carat, prong-set old European-cut diamond with SI1 clarity and K color. The top half of the shank features a freeform openwork design and is accented with one prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamond. The accent diamond weighs .04 carats with VS1 clarity and G color.
Appraised Value: $18,200
The ring measures 12.1mm at the top, rises 7.4mm above the finger, tapering to 2.8mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the shank.
