Midcentury .72 Carat Diamond Engagement Ring
Circa 1950. This wonderful 14KT white gold midcentury engagement ring features a central round brilliant-cut diamond set into a four-split prong head. Each shoulder is accented with one prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamond and one prong-set, round single-cut diamond (four total). The center stone weighs .72 carats with SI2 clarity and F color. The accent diamonds weigh .33 carats total with a VS1-VS2 clarity range and F-G color.
Appraised Value: $5,935.
The ring measures 6.2mm at the top, rising 6.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.3mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
