Late-Midcentury Morganite Ring
Circa 1970. This gorgeous Late-Midcentury 14KT yellow gold ring features a stunning 24.75-carat oval mixed-cut natural morganite set into a four-prong head. The center stone is flanked on each side by one prong-set, round brilliant cut diamond (two total). The diamonds weigh .08 carats. Morganite is the pink version of a beryl, a mineral family that includes aquamarines. The morganite was named after JP Morgan who was an avid gemstone collector.

The ring measures 17.3mm at the top, rises 11.6mm above the finger, tapering to 2.8mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
It is currently a size 6.5 and can go down in size, but not up. We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is complimentary for most pieces, with the occasional exception.
