Circa 1830. This fabulous 18KT gold Georgian memorial band features the words "IN MEMORY OF" engraved in black enamel and accented with seed pearls. The color black signified the loss of light and life. The seed pearls represent tears.
The ring measures 6mm at the top tapering to 2mm wide at the base of the shank.
