Georgian Enamel & Pearl Luckenbooth Ring
Circa 1790. This fantastic 12KT, Georgian ring features one of the most romantic symbols of love - the Scottish Luckenbooth, which was given as a token of devotion, friendship, or betrothal. The hearts symbolize love, while the crown symbolizes loyalty. The name "Luckenbooth" comes from the tiny locked booths where jewelry and trinkets were sold on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. This ring features a blue enamel background with seed pearls adorning the Luckenbooth hearts and crown. The ring is approximately a size 6.25.
This ring measures 28mm long and 16mm wide. The shank measures 7mm at the top, tapering to 1mm at the base of the shank. The ring is currently a size 5.75.
We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is complimentary for most pieces, with the occasional exception.
