Arts & Crafts Era French Ivory Angel Pendant
Circa 1900. This lovely Arts & Crafts Era pendant features an angel carrying a cornucopia, engraved in French ivory, and set in silver. French ivory is a type of plastic created in the late 1800s to imitate expensive natural ivory. The pendant is 1.5 inches wide and 2 inches long, with a 32 inch chain. Pieces made from this type of celluloid were only in production through the 1940s and are desired collectibles.
