Art Deco Emerald Cabochon and Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This exquisite Art Deco ring features a stunning 11.60-carat natural emerald set into an 18KT yellow gold semi-bezel head. The emerald is flanked to the east and west with one prong-set, natural cabochon emerald. These two emeralds weigh 2.5 carats total. The emeralds are bordered to the north and south with a row of 8 bead-set, old European-cut diamonds. The top face of the shank is accented with two bead-set, round single-cut diamonds on each side. These 20 accent diamonds weigh .88 carats total, with SI2-I1 clarity and H-I color.
Appraised Value: $38,800
The ring measures 21.1mm at the top, rises 11.1mm above the finger, tapering to 1.9mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
