Victorian Diamond & Enamel Pearl Ring with Snake Motif
Circa 1880. This stunning Victorian ring features three bezel-set old European-cut diamonds, weighing .24 carats in total. Circling the center diamonds is a yellow gold engraved snake motif with two bezel-set, rose-cut diamonds for eyes. Bezel-set around the outside edge of the ring are 18 white half-seed pearls that measure 4mm in diameter.
Appraised Value: $8,700
The top of the ring measures 24.8mm by 24.5mm by 9.2mm. The bottom of the blue enamel and engraved shank measures 2.2mm wide and 1.2mm thick. The center and outside edge of the ring contains blue enamel.
