Art Deco Pear-Shaped Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This fabulous platinum Art Deco ring features a pierced design accented with two bezel-set, pear brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 1.04 carats in total, with VS1 clarity and N color. The pear-shaped diamonds are accented with 18 bead/bezel-set, round transitional brilliant-cut diamonds weighing .75 carats with SI2-I1 clarity and H-I color. The diamonds are bordered with milgrain edging.
Appraised Value: $7,200
The ring measures 16.9mm at the top, rises 5.8mm above the finger, tapering to 2.2mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the shank.
