Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1910. This beautiful 14KT gold Edwardian ring features a lovely 1.14-carat cushion mixed-cut natural prong-set sapphire. The sapphire is haloed with 10 old mine-cut diamonds in a scalloped setting. Each shoulder is bead-set with one old mine-cut diamond. The diamonds weigh .84 carats total, with VS1-VS2 clarity and G-H color.
Appraised Value: $8,500.
The ring measures 14.9mm at the top, rises 5.9mm above the finger, tapering to 2.1mm wide and .6mm thick at the base of the shank.
