Edwardian French Imperial Diamond Ring
Circa 1910. This beautiful Edwardian platinum-topped 18KT yellow gold ring features a gorgeous .44-carat old mine-cut diamond set into an eight-prong platinum setting. The ring is also accented with 20 bead-set, rose-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .12 carats in total, with I1 clarity and G-H color. The ring features an owl hallmark, indicating that the piece was exported to France. The ring is approximately a size 6.
Appraised Value: $4,800
The ring measures 10.9mm at the top, rises 5.8mm above the finger, tapering to 1.6mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
