Art Deco North-South Diamond Ring
Circa 1920. This stunning platinum Art Deco ring is designed with a pierced motif, bordered with milgrain edging. The ring features one .74-carat old European-cut diamond bead-set into an octagonal-shaped setting, with SI1 clarity and L color. The ring is also accented with two bezel-set, tapered baguette-cut diamonds, and 38 bead-set, round single cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .64 carats in total, with VVS2-SI2 clarity and F-G color.
Appraised Value: $10,200
The ring measures 23.7mm at the top, rises 5.4mm above the finger, tapering to 2.2mm wide and .9mm thick at the bottom of the shank. It is currently a size 5 ¾.
