Circa 1880. This splendid Victorian spinner pendant features a gorgeous repousse profile carved from labradorite set in 14KT yellow gold. The back opens. Labradorite is notoriously difficult to carve in order to produce a result that exposes the iridescent nature of the stone to its greatest advantage.
This locket measures 27mm in diameter and 12mm thick.
