Late-Midcentury Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl Ring
Circa 1970. This lovely Late-Midcentury 14KT yellow gold ring features a 3.4-carat bezel-set, round cabochon-cut natural cat's eye chrysoberyl. The center stone is bordered on each side by one flush-set, square step-cut diamond. The accent diamonds weigh .18 carats in total, with SI1 clarity and L color. The ring is approximately a size 11.
Appraised Value: $6,100
The ring measures 11.5mm at the top, rises 5.9mm above the finger, tapering to 2.4mm wide and 1.3mm thick at the base of the shank.
