Retro-Era Ruby & Diamond Shell Ring
Circa 1940. This fabulous Retro-era ring features a swirl design and is accented with one bezel-set, old European-cut diamond, eight bead-set, old European-cut diamonds, and 15 prong-set, round mixed-cut natural rubies. The rubies weigh 1.2 carats in total and the diamonds weigh .96 carats in total, with VS2-SI2 clarity and G-L color.
Appraised Value: $6,500
The ring measures 25.6mm at the top, rises 8.7mm above the finger, tapering to 2.1mm wide and .8mm thick at the base of the shank.
