Art Deco Octagonal Diamond Cocktail Ring
Circa 1930. This gorgeous platinum Art Deco ring features an .83-carat bezel-set, round transitional brilliant-cut diamond with VS1 clarity and F color. The center stone is bordered with 36 old European-cut diamonds bead-set into a two-row octagonal halo setting. The shank features a pierced floral design and accented with four bead/bezel-set, old European-cut diamonds on each side. These accent diamonds weigh .86 carats total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color.
Appraised Value: $11,500
The ring measures 14.9mm at the top, rises 5.2mm above the finger, tapering to 1.6mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
