c. 1930 Blue Zircon & Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This gorgeous platinum-topped 18KT gold Art Deco ring features a sublime prong-set 1.90-carat round brilliant-cut natural blue zircon. The zircon is haloed with 15 prong-set round transitional/brilliant/single-cut diamonds, while the top of each shoulder is accented with two bead-set round single-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .41 carats total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and H-I color.
Appraised Value: $3,800
The ring measures 12.1mm at the top, rises 5.4mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank. It is approximately a size 5.5.
