Art Nouveau Niello Floral Pocket Watch

Circa 1913. This lovely Longines pocket watch retailed by Shreve & Co., a Bay Area jewelry store in business since the mid-1800s. The 900 silver hunter-style case is ornately decorated with niello enamel and a rose gold floral inlay. The dial color is white with black Arabic numeral hour markers and gold-toned hands. A seconds sub-dial is located at the 6 o'clock position. The dial is signed by Shreve & Co. The dial has a chip at the 10 o'clock position. The manual wind Longines movement is in working order. The movement is engraved with the serial number 3034227. The case is engraved with reference number 3034227.
