Circa 1900. This charming 10KT Art Nouveau brooch is a lovely example of a free-form design that uses undulating lines to represent movement. The frame of the brooch is accented with seed pearls, while the heart drop is a bezel-set cabochon-cut moonstone. Moonstones are known for their vibrant adularescence, which occurs when light shines through the stone and reflects a bluish or whitish tint.
This pendant/brooch measures 40mm long and 23mm wide.
