Art Nouveau Elgin Pocket Watch with Cupids

Circa 1901. This beautiful Art Nouveau pocket watch was made by Elgin National Watch Co and retailed by Montgomery Brothers of Los Angeles, California. The pocket watch features a 14KT yellow gold open-face case (Case No. 112021). The case is detailed in repoussé style with two cherubs and bordered with ornate ornamentation and bead-set with one old European-cut diamond. The dial color is white with black Arabic numeral hour markers and blue Arabic numeral minute markers. The Lady Elgin manual-wind, 15-jewel movement is numbered 9241948. Size 10/0s.
