Art Deco Pink Tourmaline & Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This striking platinum Art Deco ring features a fabulous 7.63-carat, oval mixed-cut natural pink tourmaline set into a four-prong setting. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with three old European-cut diamonds set into bezel settings that are bordered with milgrain edging. The accent diamonds weigh .12 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color. The ring is approximately a size 7.
Appraised Value: $8,000
The ring measures 14.6mm at the top, rises 7.2mm above the finger, tapering to 1.7mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
