Art Deco Octagonal Diamond & Sapphire Ring
Circa 1930. This stunning platinum Art Deco ring features a pierced design, bordered with milgrain edging and engraved details. In the center of the ring sits a .56-carat old European-cut diamond bead-set into an octagonal-shaped head. The diamond exhibits VVS2 clarity and J color. Accenting the center diamond are four bead-set, old European-cut diamonds, and four bezel-set, trapezoid French-cut natural sapphires. The accent diamonds weigh .32 carats with SI1-SI2 clarity and F-G color. The sapphires weigh .16 carats total.

The ring measures 13.9mm at the top, rises 5.2mm above the finger, tapering to 1mm wide and .8mm thick at the base of the shank.
