Art Deco Egyptian Revival Enamel Necklace
Circa 1920. This fabulous Art Deco-era silver necklace features Egyptian ankhs and lotus flowers accented with colorful enamel and bezel-set Persian turquoise drops. The ankh represented life, while the lotus signified rebirth. Howard Carter discovered Tut's tomb in 1922 and set the world spinning with his fantastic discovery. All things Egyptian were crazy popular during this decade.
The necklace measures 16 inches long.
