Art Deco Diamond Engagement Ring
Circa 1920. This stunning platinum Art Deco ring features an amazing 2.78-carat old European-cut diamond with SI2 clarity and L color. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with two bead-set, round single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .10 carats in total with SI1-SI2 clarity and E-F color. The setting features a pierced design with engraved wheat motifs and is bordered with milgrain edging.
Appraised Value: $31,100
The ring measures 9.8mm at the top, rises 8.8mm above the finger, tapering to 1.2mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is currently a size 7.
