Art Deco .76-Carat Diamond Engagement Ring
Circa 1930. This lovely Art Deco ring features a .76-carat old European-cut diamond set into a four-prong platinum head. The diamond shines with VS1 clarity and H color. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with one bead-set, round single-cut diamond, and six channel-set, round single-cut diamonds, bordered with milgrain edging. The accent diamonds weigh .14 carats total, with SI1-SI2 carats and E-F color.
Appraised Value: $8,400.
The ring measures 5.7mm at the top, rises 4.9mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 1.2mm thick at the base of the shank.
