
Art Deco 1.08-Carat Diamond Two-Tone Solitaire
Circa 1930. This stunning Art Deco 14KT gold ring with platinum-topped shoulders features 1.08-carat old European-cut diamond bead/bezel-set into a platinum octagonal-shaped setting, bordered with milgrain edging. The diamond exhibits VS2 clarity and I color. The platinum-topped shoulders of the ring feature a fluted design. Engraved details accent the side faces of the ring.
Appraised Value: $14,350.
The ring measures 8.8mm at the top, rises 5.6mm above the finger, tapering to 2.8mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank.
