Art Deco 3.09-Carat Diamond Ring with Baguettes
Circa 1930. This gorgeous platinum Art Deco ring features a central 3.09-carat rectangular step-cut diamond set into a four-prong head. The center stone exhibits SI2 clarity and I color. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with two channel-set, baguette-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .30 carats in total, with VS1-VS2 clarity and F color.
Appraised Value: $45,300
The ring measures 9.8mm at the top, rises 6.1mm above the finger, tapering to 1.7mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank. It is currently a size 6 ½.
