1940s Lucien Picard Ruby & Diamond Wristwatch

Circa 1940. This fabulous 14KT yellow and rose gold Lucien Picard cover-style wristwatch is topped with a floral design accented with four prong-set, natural rubies, and four bead-set, single-cut diamonds. The case is bordered with 10 bead-set, single-cut diamonds, four channel-set, square step-cut natural rubies, and 16 prong-set, natural rubies. The rubies weigh 1.72 carats in total, while the diamonds weigh .28 carats, with SI1-SI2 clarity and G-H color. The movement is a manual wind, Lucien Picard, 17 jewel manual wind movement. The watch has been cleaned and restored.
