Circa 1900. This beautiful 18KT gold Victorian French-hallmarked ring features a coiled snake design. The head of the snake is topped with a bead-set, oval mixed-cut natural blue sapphire, weighing .27 carats. Snakes represented eternal love and were a significant element of Victorian jewelry symbology.
The ring is approximately a size 4.5.
