Late-Midcentury Pear-Shaped Diamond Solitaire
Circa 1970. This wonderful 14KT yellow gold Late-Midcentury solitaire features a stunning 1.81-carat pear brilliant-cut diamond set into a three-prong head. The diamond exhibits VS2 clarity and K color. The shank splits into a "V" shape at the shoulders of the ring.
Appraised Value: $12,150
The ring measures 10.0mm at the top, rises 6.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.2mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is currently a size 6.75.
