Art Deco Split Shank Diamond Engagement Ring
Circa 1920. This exceptional platinum Art Deco ring features a bright 1.54-carat, GIA-certified round transitional brilliant-cut diamond with VS1 clarity and J color. The ring is also accented with eight bead-set, round single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .16 carat in total, with VS2-SI1 clarity and F-G color. The split-shank filigree setting features a pierced design bordered with milgrain edging, accented with engraved wheat motifs.
Appraised Value: $21,600
The ring measures 10.2mm at the top, rises 8.6mm above the finger, tapering to 1.6mm wide and 1.3mm thick at the base of the shank.
