Art Deco Platinum Diamond Ring with Green Glass Accents
Circa 1920. This fantastic platinum Art Deco ring features a 1.41-carat, GIA-certified round transitional brilliant-cut diamond with VS1 clarity and M color. The ring is also accented with 16 bead-set, round single-cut diamonds, and two bezel-set, marquise mixed-cut green glass pieces. The accent diamonds weigh .22 carats in total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and F-G color. The setting features a pierced design bordered with milgrain edging and accented with engraved wheat motifs.Appraised Value: $12,300
The ring measures 10.2mm at the top, rises 5.9mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
