Circa 1880. This gorgeous Victorian brooch features the hand-painted miniature portrait of a beautiful woman, bezel-set in 10KT gold. Prior to the advent of photography, miniatures were used as a way to remember cherished loved ones.
This brooch measures 44mm by 33.5mm wide, with a 3.5mm rise.
