Circa 1880. This lovely Victorian brooch features an inlaid floral design set in 10KT gold and haloed with seed pearls. Pietra dura refers to the Italian technique of creating images using inlays of highly polished stone cut to fit together perfectly. We love it when we find these pieces in such great condition.
