Circa 1900. This gorgeous silver pendant was embossed by the French artist P.L. Dasset (1838-1919). The halo around Mary was created using plique-a-jour, which refers to an enamel technique that does not use any backing so that light can shine through - much like stained glass.
This pendant measures 23mm in diameter.
